CNY Blues

Once again, this year I can't find the mood to celebrate such a happy moment together with my family. I am experiencing the Chinese New Year blues again. I don't know why but the moodless mood just sets in every year without fail.

Maybe its just that I am feeling stressed out with J2 work this year?
OR
Is it because that there are no more relatives left to celebrate together this year?
OR
Is it there are too many distant people that I don't regonise and I fell awkward?

Haiz..

Busy Schedule

Yawnz..

Rion the IceCleric had been busy recently since the start of the new school term with his JC2 work. Everything is going at a very fast pace and hectic for him as it is his crucial year. In order for him to concentrate on his studies,he had also made an agreement with himself not to use the computer to go online on weekdays. If he ever breaks the agreement, he will had to hand over his wireless adaptor to his mother for safe keeping. So far, he don't think that he had broken the agreement yet, so let's just hope that this self-control will continue.

Hmm.. IceCleric shall update his blog once a week then, and he shall try his best to cover the events that happened in his life for the week.

No More Life

Well, today is going to be my officially last day of freedom. CRIES!!! SOBS!!!
From tomorrow onwards, I shall surrender my gadgets that will distract my studies to my mother. Cause, school starts for me tomorrow and I am officially going to be a JC2 student! Like Mdm Wong had tell us last year, in JC you are going to have no life. Hence, in order for me to get into my desired course, I gotta do that too!

How? I am still in my holiday mood, I doubt I will get to adjust back to the stressful life in JC very soon.

I'm really so gonna be dead! I had not touch my assignments yet. I think tomorrow after school, I'm gonna stay back and study in the school library.

The  Häagen-Dazs® Experience

As promised, I brought my two sisters to Jurong Point to eat Häagen-Dazs®. Acutally, it is a promise between my youngest sister and me. I told her if she ever gets 75 and above for her English SA grade and 85 and above for her Science SA grade, I will treat her to eat Häagen-Dazs®. In the end she got it, so I there I was at Jurong Point shopping mall treating her.

I ate this

In the end, I find that the Ice-Cream there isn't really that nice eh.. the taste is too overflowing already that it taste not as good. Maybe that applies to the chocolate scoop I ate bah..but my sisters like it very much.

The Open House Marathon

Wow, this is a one of a kind and first time in my life experience for me. CS and I actually went for something called the open house marathon. Since most of the Polytechnics and JCs are having their open house at around this time, it became rather convenient for us to crash into the campus and loiter for awhile before proceeding to the next.

Here are the campus we went (arranged in order):
  1. NYP
  2. IJC
  3. RP
  4. SP

Well, I mean this is as much we can go already as the time we left SP is like around 5pm already.

We encountered two problems. First, RP's open house is only on two days, yesterday and tomorrow. Next, we had been exposed by the lecturers there, the somehow knows or I should say suspects that we are not Sec4 graduates. It's kind of a scary experience though.

Something I discovered, IJC (my college) open house does not attract as much people as the Polytechnic does and the Innovians are doing their own things at the exhibition site. E.g. playing games with each others. I bet even if there are any visitors, the will be put off by the behavior the students are showing. I think Innova still have a long way to go of she wants to squeeze her way out of the bottom few JCs in Singapore. Nevertheless, I think the Innovians still have fun today though.

We grabbed lots of goodie bags and brought a SP shirt. I can say that I do enjoy this marathon, even though it has been a tiring one.

Thanks Cyndy for bringing us around NYP also. =]

I waited... ...

As promised, my sister and I woke up early and go down to Bukit Batok MRT station to meet that person and retrieve back my N73. I had also brought a box of chocolates which I brought yesterday on my way home, to give that person as a sign of thanks.

My sister then helped me dial my phone, using her Omnia. At first the operator says that it is out of coverage area, but eventually the call went through at around 9.15am. The problem now is that no one is picking up the call. Multiple calls were made but in vain.

We waited till like around 10 plus am where my mother called and reprimanded us. I did not told her yet that I have lost my phone and this outing was rather secret. There was still no news about my phone and hence, we decided not to wait anymore. I felt so dejected that I had been pranked.

However, something left me puzzled, if that person wanted to get my phone, why would he/she on my phone and allow it to ring? He/she should switch off the phone right? Maybe he/she get the wrong idea? My sister told that person that we will connect him/her through this phone (by calling my N73). I think he/she thought that we will call him/her using Xiong's number. On top of which, I think that person should have know who I am right? As in I got lots of photo of myself inside my N73. If he/she sees the photos, there is no way he/she does not recognize me right?

When I reached home, I told everything to my mother. To my surprise, she didn't really scold but just kind of suan me. She asked me to go and terminate my number first and I did. Now, I think I would never get back my phone since I terminated my number. Sigh!

After that when I go to tuition, I saw Alvin at the Boon Lay MRT station. For some reason I don't know why, I doge away from him. What am I thinking about? Maybe I was just too pre-occupied with the thought of my lost of my phone and was not really in a mood to joke with him bah? If I had my N73 with me, I think I would surely drop a message like "I see You!" or something. I really regretted avoiding him on the train, I have missed my chance again.

Arghh...I really felt something is missing without my phone. When will I get my new phone (W980i)?

!I Lost It!

My fun day to City Square (Johor) with my crazy friends and my sister would not be spoilt if I did not lose my Nokia N73 Music Edition while watching Dairy of the Dead at the Cathay cinema there.

It actually slipped out of my pocket without me realizing while I'm sitting in a very funny position. How could I not know or felt it? My Nokia N73 Music Edition is like so bulky and big I should have feel that my pocket become lighter when it slipped out. WHY? Arghh!!! I felt so stupid.

After everyone left the cinema, there was only CS, my sister and me left there searching for my precious. I was the most frantic one digging here and there searching high and low for it. Can't possibly be that I cannot find it, cause my N73 Music Edition got this blue flashing light when its on standby mode, I should be able to see it. However, there wasn't a sign of the flash either. XT asked if I have kept it inside my bag but I am sure that I did not put it there. Finally, I was convinced that some other people took my phone when it dropped to the carpet floor, but who?

For the rest of the trip, I could not wipe of that worried and sad face I had on my face. I had to admit that sometimes I hate that phone as it is getting very slow and its kind of going haywire too; plus the battery is spoilt where the battery life cannot even last for a day. Despite those bad points, it is still my beloved phone as I had saved up like about a year or so to purchase it. Inside, it contains lots of my personal stuffs, e.g. photos, messages and music.

Arghh... come to think of it, I am still pissed with myself for being so careless! Anyway, I am going to change phone soon, why would I want to worry about it? No no no! Cannot, cause I am planning to keep this phone!

When we passed the Singapore custom, Xiong helped me try calling my phone again to see if anyone pick up. Surprisingly, the person who picked up my phone answered the call. He then hand over his phone to my sister who converse with the person and details of meeting up to return the phone. It was then arranged to meet at 9am tomorrow at Bukit Batok.

I just hope the person will show up tomorrow.

The Three Childish Friends

These are the childish friends (except the one who is in red, he was an ex-member). Even though they are 18 this year they still act as if they are primary school kids. Maybe the reason being that they had known each other since they are in primary school and their quite close to each other ever since. They crack silly jokes as and when they are together. When will the grow up and be more mature adults? Who knows? If one of the ever becomes mature, that would spoilt the fun. Happiness should follows when friends handout together; however in some situations there maybe some disputes or even suan-ing but that is normal.

This first post of the year is for you guys! Love ya!
Hope you all will be friends together forever and not let another member leave this group. Anyway, I do hope the member who had left the group, would come back soon.
