Early Celebration
Today we went out to celebrate Amanda’s birthday which falls on this Sunday, 06/07. 11 people went to Causeway Point Pizza Hut to have lunch together. The 11 people include the usual Amanda’s clique (Amanda, Aaron, Valerie, Pamela, KayShim and Beatrice) plus YiChong, Joel, Haresh, Sinthu and Me! The present they give her was something related to her replica which kinda pissed her off.
YiChong left early as he got some important stuff to settle. He had been zoning out ever since he received a call this morning before Chemistry lecture (he went missing for the lecture). Joel left after taking a group photo shot as he needs to go for CCA. I too have CCA but I skipped it, since YiChong not going too. KayShim left soon after Joel’s departure. Popular was our next destination after our lunch as the girls want to buy pink and black files for the GP file check tomorrow. After loitering around popular and creating commotion there, the girls decided to walk around Causeway Point as they don’t want to go home that early.
The final decision was to go Junction8 after some time of pointless walking around the mall. I heard that they are planning to go there to take a look at the Zinc bags. The leftover guys were reluctant to accompany them to such a far away place but in the end the girls successfully dragged us there. Sinthu insisted that she doesn’t want to go and hence waved goodbye to us at the MRT station.
Quite some funny stuff happened on the train. Thanks to Amanda the gossiper at least the trip won’t be that boring after all. OMG lah, there’s this tall and shuai ge sitting opposite where we were standing and he keep looking at this direction. Wonder who he is looking at..is it me? LoLz, joking joking..I only notice it when Pamela talked about it.
So, we reached the place. They head down to the Zinc shop first and tried out the bags. In the end Amanda and Valerie didn’t buy the bags that had they set their eyes on as they are cashless at the moment. The outing then continues with pointless wondering around the place. Well, I’ve never been there before, but nothing there really amazes me. It’s just like any other shopping mall. Half way through the pointless browsing, Amanda “pang she-ed“us by meeting up with her CHIJ friend and leaving with her. After she left, the group of people become sort of quite already; think everyone is feeling lethargic already.
We do some more aimless window shopping before dispersing at around 6plus in the evening.
I’ve realized that after half a year had passed already and the class is slowly dividing and the “division line” is somewhat visible. I think I’d prefer to stick to the Amanda’s gang as there are more gossips and it seems to be more happening than the other.
Count down: 22days left!
