Kota Tingi Adventure Camp
Wah seh! Finally come back from such a nightmare sia!
This post is gonna be so so long !!
Day 1 : Climbing Mt.Panti
I think should be climbing Mt."Ma-Ti" lor! The expedition pack is like 10kg and there's 10 of them! My class only got 6 guys and all are expected to carry, even me (with "asthma and hyperventilation")
I've never walk so much in my life before! We started hiking up the mountain at approximately 2plus pm and only reach the summit at 7plus pm. There's only a very short stop along the way. The instructors keep telling us that we are reaching soon or we are almost there or half way there..but we never seems to reach. Around 6plus pm the sky darkens very fast. Even before 7pm, everyone need to switch on their torch light to continue hiking. The most frustrating thing is that we have not reach the summit yet. I almost feel like crying yet shouting out in anguish.
Plus I banged my head twice on the trunk overhead that is lying low. Outch man! That hurts! It rained in the afternoon that day and the ground's mud soften therefore making it squishy squashy. Once you stepped into the mud, its hard to get your leg out. Those muddy areas are part of our route. The ground was even super slippery and I fall quite some times.
Finally when we reached the summit, everyone was plagued with serious tummy ache! It sucks man! There's mass lao sai in the mountains! Everyone kenna food poisoning lor! When you sleep that time even worst, you can smell shit! Literally! No joke! You will feel like sleeping in the toilet! The worst thing is that when we reached the summit, I'm the 1st guy to go the "toilet"! It's also very irritating to keep waking up in the night just to go to flush every "brown yogurt" out! Some people even can't tahan till the "toilet" and just shit anywhere anyhow. In the end, quite some students stepped on the land mine.
Well, everyone blamed the hot dogs for the poisoning, some blamed the chicken we ate during lunch that day. The maggie mee they cooked for me was so salty sia, I don't even feel like eating them all lor. Why they cook for me? Cause I was the 1st guy to went to the toilet, remember? LoLz.
Day 2: The Lizard
The next morning, we are supposed to pitch all the other tents we had. Hence, in the end, we all pitched the tent next to the "toilet". The climbing down of the mountain is very difficult ask we need to scale down the peak. Walking down the mountain may seem as easy, but the second look its as difficult as hiking up. The road down is steep and slippery too. When we are about there, some of my classmates legs kenna lich bite. In the end, we killed it with the mozzie off repellent.
When we reached the camp centre, its almost 3pm in the afternoon and our next supposing activity, is scaling the waterfall. However, thank God! It had a sudden thunderstorm. The waterfall trip was cancelled. Everyone was super happy, as no one wants to walk anymore.
In the midst of the instructor shouting to everyone, trying to be louder as the rain, a Gecko dropped onto Sinthu's lap. It climbed up her chest area. When she saw it, she went into a frenzy! Screaming at her top of her voice which is louder than the instructor and it filled the whole canteen instantly. How powderful is that? Sinthu then "danced" towards Amanda who was speaking to her. Both got off the table and the L-sized Lizard disappear. Rohan on the other hand who was directly opp Sinthu, just sit there, looking at the lizard and screamed also. LoLz..I didn't even screamed sia. After all the commotion, both sat back. A few moments later, the Gecko reappears! It now terrorized the table! It preached itself in the middle, once again the duo who screamed earlier, screamed again. Rohan this time screamed with the mouth wide open and the hands wide open also, sitting there stunned. The Lizard was than swat off by Amysha, the hero! Me? I was there stunned beyond any movement.
Since our Waterfall expedition was cancelled, we can now go slack at the chalet till 5pm. Everyone was so happy. We finally can get to shower. Aaron was the super one! He multi-tasked his showering. When he went in, we heard the shower tap on, a few moment later, the toilet flash and he's out!
After our dinner, we are due for night walk. The walk was super scary. Guys are to go alone and girls in pairs. I'm scared of the dark. In the end, I hung my head low, and hide myself in my shirt and walk as fast as possible. It's just a straight path. It's not fun de sia, cause I didn't meet up with the girls infront of me however others did.
After night walk, we got a debrief and can go back into the rooms till 11pm where Mr Hamin wanna talk to us.
We fell asleep unknowingly. When it's 11pm Aaron called up everyone in the room. Mr Hamin revealed the source of food poisoning to us, and its the tea egg! There was commotion all over. After some more talking we are dismissed and the 6pathetic guys went back to sleep.
